- Where is Nanny Wendy's fudge made?
- All of our fudge is handmade in small batches in Bude, on the north coast of Cornwall, England. We make it the traditional way, stirred by hand in open pans.
- How long does the fudge stay fresh?
- Our fudge has a best-before date of approximately 6 weeks from dispatch. Keep it in a cool, dry place in its sealed packaging. Once opened, enjoy within 2 weeks for the best texture.
- Do you offer vegan or gluten-free fudge?
- Yes. Several of our flavours are naturally gluten-free, and we offer selected vegan recipes. Each product lists its dietary suitability, and you can filter for gluten-free and vegan options when building a box.
- What allergens are in your fudge?
- Our fudge contains milk and may contain nuts, soya and other allergens depending on the flavour. It is made in a kitchen that handles nuts. Full allergen information is listed on every product and on the packaging.
- How much is delivery and how long does it take?
- We dispatch via Royal Mail 1st Class. Orders placed before 2pm on a working day are typically dispatched the same day. Standard UK delivery is £1.99, and free on orders over £30.
- Can I build my own box of fudge?
- Yes. Our Build-Your-Own-Box lets you choose either a 3-slab or 5-slab box and pick your favourite flavours, from salted caramel to clotted cream and lemon meringue.
- What is the Fudge Club?
- The Fudge Club is our monthly subscription. You receive a box of hand-stirred Cornish fudge delivered to your door each month, with the choice of 3-month, 6-month and 12-month plans. You can manage, skip or cancel at any time.
- Do you cater for weddings and events?
- Yes. Choose from fudge you package yourself, cellophane bags, or boxed favours, each finished with a ribbon in your choice of colour. Prices are on application — get in touch via our contact form with your date, quantities and any flavour in mind and we'll put together a quote.
- Do you supply fudge wholesale or to corporate clients?
- We do. We supply farm shops, delis and gift retailers, and we create branded corporate gifts. White-labelling is available for an additional labelling cost. Visit our Corporate & Wholesale page or contact us to discuss quantities and pricing.
- Is your fudge award-winning?
- Yes. At the Taste of the West Awards 2025 — the South West's leading regional food and drink awards — we won Gold for our Lemon Meringue fudge, Gold for our Cornish Sea Salt fudge, and Silver for our Salted Caramel fudge.
- How should I store my fudge?
- Store fudge in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, in its resealable packaging. There is no need to refrigerate it; refrigeration can dry it out and affect the soft, melt-in-the-mouth texture.
- Can I send fudge as a gift?
- Absolutely. You can add a gift message at checkout, and our boxes are designed to arrive looking beautiful. Build-Your-Own-Box and Fudge Club subscriptions both make popular gifts.
